Nastaran Collection is Currently sold at The British Museum Shop. This beautifully handmade collection is inspired by Afghanistan’s 1st Century BCE jewellery using finest lapis lazuli locally.
Our team loves this style as it has a certain familiar feel to it. Making Nastaran pieces are challenging. Mostly nowadays this type of work is made by lapis lazuli powder mixed with glue to fill the bezels. Noqra Artisans make Nastaran Collection pieces using natural lapis rocks cut and polished very carefully to fit in the bezel.
