Like any other small businesses Noqra is also having its struggles during Covid 19. The most important fact is that we are all healthy so far and very grateful for that. We thought to give you an overview of the way we manage during this harsh period.
Our production is the most affected part of our business. Due to our artisans working from a common workshop side by side, we had to stop production to make sure all our artisans are safe. Luckily, we have enough stock to get us through another couple of month or so.
We have two distribution centres: London and Frankfurt. Our London distribution is working as normal. On the other hand, we had to shut our distribution temporarily in Frankfurt due to deutsche post delivery restrictions especially to countries out of European Union.
We missed the wedding season this year. Our sales were excellent during wedding season in the previous years. We hope to recover from that during Christmas period. Other sales are still coming and we are more than happy to fulfil them from London.
We are working on designing our new range right now with many different gems and colourful marbles originated from Afghanistan. This would be something that will appeal to all our chic, sharp and minimalist customers. I am not authorised to give you more spoilers yet.
Meanwhile, I am taking the opportunity to work on launching our new website. As I am designing and filling all the information myself, there is a lot to do. It takes hours and hours to fix every little detail and get it approved by our creative lead. We will launch our new website soon, so please, watch the space as you will be asked to help me with your constructive feedbacks soon.
