‘Blue Moon’ Collection from Noqra, hand crafted by Afghan artisans
Noqra launches its statement collection ready-to-wear at International Jewellery London on September 2017. The new collection entitled “ Blue Moon “ includes chokers, bracelets, earrings and rings. Top quality lapis lazuli set by hand on 925 Sterling Silver, that adds to complement the luxury and contemporary look of this collection.
Through the beauty of silver and lapis lazuli—the most prized gemstone in Afghanistan–Noqra brings a Central-Asian twist to the European market. It seeks to provide modern fashion sensibility, whilst still honouring the ancient craft traditions of Afghanistan.
Noqra jewellery began as three Afghan sisters dreamed of designing and selling jewellery that not only highlighted the beauty of naturally occurring Afghan gemstones, but also supported the Afghan economy by employing local young Afghan jewellers. After much study in fashion, design and business, sisters were able to make their dream a reality with the launch of Noqra.
We ensure each piece is made with the highest quality of workmanship and best materials available. The finished pieces are delivered to London and Germany for worldwide sale and distribution.
